Full description:

At a time when our field of study seems under attack on all sides, what is the future of critical religion? As we face funding and program cuts, restrictions on free speech in the classroom, declining conference attendance, the threat of Al to academic integrity, can the critical thinking skills we learn from "critical religion" be applied in ways that help us better understand the present state of affairs? Do the resources of critical religion offer us means of securing a foothold as the resources of higher ed are being chipped away? Can the resources of critical religion help us draw students as RS is seeing a general decline overall?
